Where it all began...
Our story begins in 1946, when Constant Janssens started his business from scratch. As a young, skilled joiner, he began by crafting cart wheels and staircases, gradually moving on to outbuildings and wooden greenhouses for professional use. The seed of a success story was planted.
to a thriving family company
In the 1960s and 70s, horticulture experienced enormous growth. Demand for industrial greenhouses, now predominantly in aluminium, rose exponentially. Constant passed the torch to his son René, who brought a fresh energy to the business.
By then, Janssens had become a well-known name in professional greenhouse construction. The expansion into hobby greenhouses opened a new chapter, making our craftsmanship accessible to a wider audience.
yet thoroughly Belgian
The 1980s brought strong international expansion, beginning with exports to Germany, the Netherlands, France and Switzerland. Back at our home base in Lier, our craftspeople continued tirelessly refining our products.
In 2016, René in turn passed the torch to Peter, who leads the company today. For three generations, we have been committed to a single goal: building quality, reliable greenhouses that stand the test of time.
Expertise and trust
Our decades of expertise, combined with our own R&D department and an industrial background in professional greenhouse construction, enable us to produce high-quality hobby greenhouses at an unbeatable price-to-quality ratio. Thanks to our international presence, our greenhouses meet the most stringent safety standards, CE certified (EN 1090-1 to EN 1090-3), issued by TÜV Rheinland.
In our production facility spanning 6,500 m², our craftspeople combine traditional know-how with the latest technologies every day. We operate a fully automated machinery park, guaranteeing maximum precision, efficient production processes and consistently outstanding quality, for both Action Models and bespoke Custom Models. A further 8,000 m² of storage space ensures smooth and timely dispatch.

We are committed to projects that place nature restoration and a sustainable future at their core, both locally and internationally. From reforestation in the Amazon region in partnership with Camino Verde, to tree planting closer to home in Okegem and the historic Soeterbeek Estate in Nuenen.
We also support projects in Madagascar and the Democratic Republic of Congo, with a focus on agroforestry, mangrove restoration and reforestation with native species.
We go beyond simply planting trees: we strengthen biodiversity, restore ecosystems and support local communities.
