To begin with, we build constructions that hardly ever age, or that last for decades: greenhouses for life.
We choose (circular) aluminum composed of ecologically sustainable alloys. An environmentally friendly choice, for a host of reasons.
- Modern aluminum factories are very energy efficient.
- Aluminum is light and therefore requires less energy to manufacture, transport and install. Result: less CO2 emissions.
- Aluminum does not rust and is highly resistant to weathering: good for a longer life.
- Aluminum is 100% recyclable without loss of quality.
The organic powder coating we use to paint our greenhouses is made in an environmentally friendly way.
Our waste is 90% recyclable and can be reused in the economy.

We build Janssens greenhouses with a mission: for every greenhouse sold, we will plant a tree. Together with Go Forest, we focus on planting trees in Peru and Congo. By doing so, we contribute to global reforestation and help build a better future for our planet.

Sustainable initiatives for an environmentally friendly future
We also make many efforts as a company that benefit the environment.
- Both in the office and in the production departments, we use as little paper as possible.
- Our buildings have been renovated since 2020 and meet the latest standards of insulation.
- We heat our offices with heat pumps and our workshop is equipped with underfloor heating.
- Since 2020, our roof has been equipped with solar panels that allow us to generate a large part of green energy for our machines, our elevators and our electric industrial vehicles (forklifts, side loaders, pallet transporters, etc.).
- All the old and energy consuming machines have been replaced by machines that are more energy efficient.
